Visiting Christian Louboutin Store in Miami – 155 NE 40th Street Miami, FL, 33137

March 24, 2012 | 7

During my last trip to Miami, FL I had the chance to visit the new Christian Louboutin Store in Miami – located 155 NE 40th Street Miami, FL, 33137 – which is a complete different style. Not in the middle of the tourist attraction is the store located in the design district of Miami, with great galleries, great restaurants and also the famous Louboutin store.

When you compare the store, with the Louboutin store in Manhattan, you will see a garden style decor with entrance door and the high heels are located on the inner cube of the store. Great art around the wall and outside the middle cube you will find handbags and accessoires outside and the famous high heels inside. You feel a little bit protected – no chance for paparazzi to take pictures of the celebs also entering this store.

I took the opportunity to visit the store in afternoon and the biggest advantage is, it is not so crowded, so the team can take all the time for you and always carefully check your sizes and how you walk, give real opinions and real suggestions…

My personal favorite was the special edition with the blue insole and rhinestore, but I visited the store for different nude high heels by Christian Louboutin and finally found a pair of black and white peeptoes (not the shoes I was looking for – but tooo beautiful…). The other pictures are taking after the store visit at Miami Bayside before dinner.

Cologne Cathedral – Koelner Dom – Pictures of my trip to Cologne – World Heritage List

March 22, 2012 | 10

The final posting about my trip to Cologne with the pictures of the world famous Cologne Cathedral, which was located on the opposite site of my hotel – the Domhotel – and really impressive. Still unbelievable that they started building this impressive cathedral in the 11th century and finished it during the 18th century.

Cologne Cathedral - Koelner Dom - Pictures of my trip to Cologne - World Heritage List

One of the biggest cathedrals worldwide with a huge history and belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1996. It is always impressive again, when entering through the huge doors. I wanted to share these pictures of the Cologne Cathedral from the outside and inside and it is great to see how many people of different nations will enter and visit it. (during the 1960s, it was also open for muslimic immigrants als place to pray)

For me, when visiting Cologne, it is a must-stop – just for a few minutes – but taking the time… I hope you enjoy the pictures, more fashion will follow tomorrow… Feel free to share these pictures with PInterest or on your blog (as long as you link back to my page…)

Pictures from New York – Chrysler Building – Grand Central Station – Apple Store New York

March 19, 2012 | 10

The days in New York were really great and during the trips and actual postings in the past, I didn’t had the time to add more pictures from New York City to my blog. So taking today the chance for a few additional pictures (one more posting with Times Square by Night will follow…)

Pictures from New York - Chrysler Building - Grand Central Station - Apple Store New York

These pictures show you the world famous Chrysler Building and also Grand Central Station – the main railway station in New York with the imposive high ceiling. Grand Central Terminal (which is the official name of Grand Central Station) is the biggest railway station in the world with currently 67 tracks on two floors… and 21.600.00 people using the station every year.

Different fashion and electronic stores are located at Grand Central Station and in their lower levels and also on the main course is a real special store – the new Apple Store in New York. When reading about it some time ago, I won’t believe that they got this premium marketing piece for their company – but it really is… – get your electronic items before getting the train. The ticket booth are often replaced by automatic machines and the clock in the middle of the information booth has a value of approx. 20 million US$.

Chic Outlet Shopping – The Villages & Miles and More… Great day for me – I won…

March 14, 2012 | 6

I told you three days ago that I will write about the reason for my trip to the ITB (International Tourism Show) in Berlin and it was really great. A few weeks ago I received the information that Chic Outlet Shopping (with Shopping-Villages e.g. in London, Barcelona, Milan, Madrid, Paris) will invite 50 frequent flyers by Lufthansa and their partnerprogram (Miles & More) to the ITB for a meet and great and the chance to win… tickets were also paid by Chic Outlet Shopping, so nothing to loose… I received the information that I was one of the fifty lucky ones and went to Berlin.

Chic Outlet Shopping - The Villages & Miles and More... Great day for me - I won...

The only thing you have to do is visit their booth at the ITB on Saturday March 10th, 2012 and enter your invitation to their raffle. In the meantime, you are invited for snacks and drinks and can take a look on the villages.

The team of Chic Outlet Shopping was really friendly and gave me a lot of information about the Villages and I am sure, that I will visit the Village in Ingolstadt (70km in the North of Munich), Bicester (near London) and La Roca (near Barcelona) within the next weeks. We talked about two of my favorites – Fashion & Travel and the different ways of shopping worldwide and the interesting architecture of the Villages created by Chic Outlet Shopping.

The booth got really crowded in the afternoon and more and more people entered the raffle, and I didn’t expect to win… – but I won… they had five prizes in combination with Lufthansa and Miles & More and each price had a value of 30,000 airline miles you can redeem for flights to all European destinations or currently for free flights to the Seychelles, Nairobi (Kenya), Mauritius, Maledives, Mombasa (Kenya), Las Vegas, Anchorage, Fort Lauderdale (USA) – I will really have to think about where I want to go – but I still cannot believe it.. (the last picture is a huge boarding ticket size 60x25cm) I left the ITB with and everyone was starring at me… :) – Thank you very much Chic Outlet Shopping & Lufthansa for this day and great trip…

Berlin by Night – Pictures from Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Berlin Cathedral and Alex

March 12, 2012 | 5

Before I write about my experiences at the Chic Outlet Booth at the International Tourism Show in Berlin – I wanted to share pictures of Berlin with you. Pictures were taken on the evening after the tourism show. I had the opportunity to stay at the fantastic Westin Grand Hotel with view to Brandenburg Gate and Alex (TV-Tower).

Berlin by Night - Pictures from Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Berlin Cathedral and Alex

So I started my trip with a walk to Brandenburg Gate for a few evening pictures, before walking to Reichstag (Germany’s parliament building) and a few political buildings. I really like to discover these cities by night – not so crowded and completely different. After that a walk to the beautiful Berlin Cathedral and the TV-tower (Alex) on the right side. The interesting building with the light belongs to the University of Berlin.

I hope you like my nightshots and if you like – more pics are on my PInterest profile. Please follow my channel, if you like (and leave also a comment if you have your own PInterest-Channel)…

Not a night in the museum – but a day in American Museum of National History in New York

February 27, 2012 | 10

During my New York days the Sunday was perfect for a cultural day with visiting a museum. I always try to visit one or two museums in cities, I visit for a few days and this time I decided for the American Museum of National History which was also the location of the 2006 movie “Night in the Museum – Part I” with Ben Stiller.
Not a night in the museum - but a day at American Museum of National History in New York

I really like the museum and it is really huge (about 4 blocks) including the large planetarium with a brilliant show and two IMAX theaters. Remembering the times, visiting a musuem with a huge map and floor plan and still not sure where to go or where to find the things you are most interested in? At this museum it is completely different. During registration they introduce you to the WLAN-service of the museum and also all the free apps and guides. Just select on the index where you want to go and you will get walking directions… Really funny for a museum!

You will find in different areas all about the American history, from the first people arriving, about the nature, the oceans up to the way to space and moon. This museum offers also fantastic relaxing and sitting areas all around with impressive views about Manhattan and Central Park (where I made my next stop – see posting below). If you have time in New York and want to take a look on a great museum – you should visit the American Museum of National History. Ticket price between 19 and 30 USD.
