Today I received a very interesting invitation by RIGBY & PELLER – the Lingerie Stylist from London, who will open their first store in Düsseldorf, Germany on March 1st, 2012 – only two minutes away famous Königsallee, located in Shadowarcaden. After six stores in the UK (e.g. Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Chelsea, Westfield, Cambridge and Bluewater) this is the first store outside Great Britain – new stores in Spain will follow shortly.
You know that I also like lingerie by Agent Provocateur, but RIGBY & PELLER have a complete different concept which is really intersting. RIGBY & PELLER, which received the title “Royal Warrant” by H.M. Queen Elizabeth II in 1960, will find the perfect look together with you. You can arrange individual appointments for their lingerie advice and find together the perfect style for your curves, your lifestyle and your personality.
Their major topic is to understand the wishes and desires of every woman. So if you are in Dusseldorf after March 1st, 2012 – visit their store at Blumenstrasse 24, opening hours are Mo-Fr. 10-19, Sa 10-18. This spring and summer seems to become a real interesting shoe season. On one side you have tons of nude and black high heels with classic heel or platform and on the other side you have a lot of extreme block heels with intensive colors (e.g. by Dior). I started collecting a few on the shoe department by SAKS Fifth Avenue on their store in Manhattan and was looking for the right pair for me.
I really like the leopard print on the Christian Louboutin shoes, but the heel is much to small for me. I prefer the style like the one by Louboutin with lace, especially to mix with casual clothes, e.g. a black jeans or dark pants. Below the Louboutins, you will find three traditional styles by Valentino, which I really like, but more for evening events, followed by the new trend, the colorful platform heels (e.g. by DIOR) and back to the black and nude version by TODS.
On the last picture you will find a mixture of nude or golden shoes for spring / summer 2012 by Miu Miu, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Christian Louboutin again and also Jimmy Choo.
When buying shoes I will always look for two kind of shoes – one season trendy high heels – not so superexpensive and classical or total eyecatching shoes which are comfortable and for more than a season. I prefer to have my classical shoes by Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, or Prada, which are mostly very comfortable.
This time I was not lucky enough to find the perfect pair of heels for spring / summer 2012 – but I found a great new pair a few days ago online, presented by Victoria Beckham – designed by Walter Steiger.

Translate: Dieses Frühjahr/Sommer-Saison scheint schuhtechnisch eine besonders interessante Saison zu werden, auf der einen Seite gibt es viele neue Nude- oder klassisch schwarze High Heels, auf der anderen Seite sehr intensive Farben mit Blockabsatz und Plateau (wie z.B. von DIOR). Ich habe einmal einige zusammengefasst bei meinem letzten Besuch bei SAKS.
Mir persönlich gefällt der Leopardenprint-Schuh von Louboutin sehr gut, aber der Absatz ist mir zu flach, dann schon eher die Version mit der überzogenen Spitze, die man fantastisch mit Alltagskleidung, wie z.B. einer schwarzen Jeans mischen kann. Unter den Louboutins findet Ihr drei sehr traditionelle Styles von Valentino mit Schleife, die mir auch für einen Abend eher gefallen, gefolgt vom neuen Trend, farbigen Plateaus (wie z.B. von DIOR) und den klassischen Schuhen von TODS.
Auf dem letzten Bild findet Ihr eine Mischung von verschiedenen goldenen und nude Schuhen für Frühjahr/Sommer 2012 von Miu Miu, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Christian Louboutin und auch wieder Jimmy Choo.
Wenn ich nach Schuhen schaue, achte ich immer auf zwei Punkte – trendige Schuhe für eine Saison, nicht zu teuer – oder aber klassische oder total besondere Schuhe für mehrere Jahre. Ich wähle dann gerne Schuhe von Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo und Prada, wobei gerade die letzten sehr bequem sind.
Between my updates about New York I want to share with you what I found yesterday on a Wolford Boutique in Munich. I was looking for a few special outfits for a new project coming at the end of March / beginning of April 2012 and for that I will go back to the States.
I took a look at the Wolford collection and found a lot of interesting prints everywhere. It was hard to decide but this time I selected the Tights called “Tiger” in black/sahara. You will get them also in black/black but I prefered to have nude legs and the only attraction is the Tiger print.
I think about combining them with black Louboutin High Heels, a short mini skirt and a special top. I also added a few pictures of the Wolford Spring / Summer 2012 collection below, you will find on their flyers or magazines. I also like the new neck collar they offer – and I will take a look for it within the next days.

Translate: Zwischen meinen Updates über New York wollte ich Euch zeigen, was ich gestern in einer Wolford Boutique in München gefunden habe. Ich war auf der Suche nach einem besonderen Outfit für ein neues Projekt welches voraussichtlich Ende März / Anfang April 2012 beginnt und für das ich noch mal in die Staaten fliege.
Ich habe mich also bei Wolford umgeschaut und viele interessante Prints gefunden. Die Entscheidung war nicht leicht, aber diesmal war es die Strumpfhose “Tiger” in schwarz/sahara. Diese Strumpfhose ist auch erhältlich in schwarz/schwarz, aber ich ziehe es vor, transparente Strumpfhosen mit Muster zu wählen, da der “Tiger” dann mehr aufmerksamkeit erhält.
Ich werde die Strumpfhose von Wolford voraussichtlich mit schwarzen Louboutin High Heels kombinieren, dazu ein sehr kurzer Minirock und ein besonderes Top. Ich habe Euch noch ein paar weitere Fotos aus der Wolford Frühjahr / Sommer Kollektion 2012 hinzugefügt. Ich finde z.B. auch das Halsband sehr schön und werde es mir in den nächsten Tagen noch einmal ansehen.

During my trip to New York I also wanted to make a stop at the famous Michael Kors store @ 5th Avenue, Manhattan. The store is in front of the famous Rockefeller Center Building with the ice skating rink.
If you compare this store with most stores you find in Miami, Los Angeles or also here in Munich it is much bigger and you will find nearly every item you also find on the onlinestore. The service is very friendly and helpful – but the store is also highly frequented by tourist. My personal favorite Michael Kors stores are currently the one in Munich, Theatinerstrasse or in Boca Raton, Florida (Boca Town Center)
Hope you like the new handbags and watches (I do not wear a Michael Kors watch, I prefer a different label :) ) – the clothes are also very great and I really like the new collection.

Wenn man diesen Store mit den meisten Geschäften in Miami, Los Angeles oder auch hier in München vergleicht, ist dieser Store viel größer und es gibt wirklich fast jeden Artikel aus dem Onlinestore. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit – aber auch sehr von Touristen frequentiert. Meine persönlichen Lieblings-Michael-Kors-Geschäfte sind noch immer, der Store in München in der Theatinerstraße, sowie in Boca Raton, Florida (Boca Town Center).
Ich hoffe Euch gefallen die neuen Handtaschen und Uhren (ich trage zwar selber keine Uhr von Michael Kors und bevorzuge ein anderes Label :) ..) – die Kleidung im Geschäft war ebenfalls sehr schön und gefällt mir sehr gut.

Great winter weather and a new look of the day. It is still really cold in Munich (-10°C during the day), but going out with this minidress makes a lot of fun. I cannot wait to wear the dress with the platform high heels on one of the next parties or events in Munich or around the world.
I still prefer to wear dresses, especially minidresses for most occasions, they are always a touch classy but perfect and great to combine with accessoires and jewelry.

Browsing around the stores in Manhattan was really interesting again – all the new spring/summer collection by famous brands (e.g. Dior, Christian Louboutin, Prada, Stuart Weitzman, Jimmy Choo, etc.) and a limited numer on good sales.
I used the chance to take a few pictures of a few special models and it seems that the trend for summer is really colorful and most high heels with snake-print. Christian Louboutin uses the python shoes for years and it is not allowed to import them to most countries of the European Union, but I still like the style.
I was completly suprised on the prices they charge you currently in New York, compare with prices in Europe. Most times it was much cheaper to buy shoes in the USA (all my Louboutin high heels are from New York, Los Angeles, Boca Raton and Miami), but it is now much cheaper to buy them in Europe. So no new Louboutin shoes, but another pair of boots I will show you the next days…

Translate: Beim Herumstöbern der Geschäfte in Manhattan war es vor allem interessant, die neuen Kollektion der Frühjahr / Sommermode 2012 der bekannten Labels (z.B. Christian Louboutin, Prada, Stuart Weitzman, Jimmy Choo, etc.) sich anzusehen und dabei nach zusätzlichen Schnäppchen Ausschau zu halten.
Ich habe dabei die Gelegenheit genutzt und einige besondere Modelle einmal für euch fotografiert und es scheint wirklich, als würde der Sommertrend 2012 farbenfroh und häufig weiterhin mit Tierprints. Christian Louboutin nutzt seit vielen Jahren bereits seine Python-Schuhe, die zur Einfuhr in die europäische Union nicht erlaubt sind, aber trotzdem noch immer toll aussehen.
Ich war jedoch sehr von den Preisen überrascht, die neuerdings in New York verlangt werden, im Vergleich zu Europa. In den meisten Fällen war es günstiger Schuhe in den USA zu kaufen (alle meine Louboutins sind aus New York, Los Angeles, Boca Raton oder Miami), aber nun ist es wirklich günstiger sich diese in Europa zu kaufen. Daher dieses Mal keine neue Louboutin Schuhe, nur ein neues Paar Stiefel, dass ich Euch demnächst zeigen werde.

Time for another winter look of the day update. I took these pictures three days ago, when sun comes out in the morning – fresh snow everywhere, sunshine – perfect for a walk on the park or meeting friends.
The weather was much nicer the days ago, as it is still freezing in the afternoon here in Munich and the forecast for the next days with temperatures between -10 and -15°C sounds horrible. So good that I will leave Munich shortly and go to New York.

I wrote some time ago about my order at Agent Provocateur – the premium lingerie collection – and wanted to show you the items, I received a few days ago. I decided for a three pieces lingerie set of the autumn/winter collection 2011/2012 and also for a black shining corset.
The quality of Agent Provocateur is famous worldwide, it is a real high quality line and I am sure, I will enjoy wearing them. You will receive all items in rose boxes with an envelope, including your invoice. The sizechart is perfect, but please check your sizes twice – but you will have the chance to change it, if size is not correct.
I also looked for a corset, to combine it with regular pants and jeans, plus high heels and found the standard corset perfect for this situation. I will start making pictures with the corset within the next days, pictures with the lingerie line will not be published :-)

Translate: Vor einiger Zeit habe ich über meine Bestellung bei Agent Provocateur – dem Premium Wäschelabel – geschrieben und wollte euch die Artikel zeigen, die ich vor einigen Tagen erhalten habe. Ich habe mich für ein dreiteiliges Wäscheset aus der Herbst/Winter Kollektion 2011/2012 und ein schwarzes Korsett entschieden.
Die Qualität von Agent Provocateur ist weltweit bekannt, es ist eine High Quality Linie und ich bin mir sicher, dass ich es beim Tragen genießen werde. Ihr erhaltet die Wäsche von Agent Provocateur in rose-farbenen Boxen mit einem schönen Umschlag, der die Rechnung enthält. Die Orientierung an der Größentabelle passte bei mir perfekt, messt lieber genau, dann gibt es weniger Probleme – aber zur Not kann man es auch umtauschen und den Artikel in einer anderen Größe nachbestellen.
Ich habe ebenfalls nach einer Korsage geschaut, die man perfekt mit normalen Hosen und Jeans kombinieren kann und wozu High Heels gut aussehen. Ich werde davon in den nächsten Tagen noch einmal Fotos machen, die Fotos mit dem Wäscheset werden nicht veröffentlicht :-)

I am sure to take my Louboutin boots Ronfifi Alta 100 leather boots with me and also my MIU MIU heels, but also a few of my special higher heels, especially for the evening and visiting clubs and restaurants.
As the space is limited on my luggage, I am sure, it will be a hard decision – but I still love high heels… and New York without high heels? No way!

Yesterday I received an interesting mail by Michael Kors showing the new collection for Spring/Summer 2012 and starting with this coat. Usually I prefer my black or silver coats by Hugo Boss, but I have to agree I like this classic light brown touch.
Great to combine with nearly every outfit and long enough to combine with most of my skirts – the leather details are great add on. I think I will give it a try and visit the local Michael Kors store in Munich at Theatinerstrasse within the next days.

Wie Ihr wisst, bevorzuge ich in der Regel die Mäntel in silber oder schwarz von Hugo Boss, aber dieser klassische braune Mantel hat schon etwas.
Irgendwie ideal um ihn mit den verschiedensten Outfits zu kombinieren und lang genug um ihn mit den meisten Röcken zu tragen und die Leder Accessoires wirken auch sehr gutdazu. Ich glaube ich werde ihn mir einmal genauer im Michael Kors Store in München in der Theatinerstrasse ansehen.
