Shopping at Ingolstadt Village – Chic Outlet Factory – I cannot wait – great labels

March 25, 2012 | 10

Time for me for the planning of the next two weeks and as the weather gets nicer and nicer I will have to visit Ingolstadt Village (which is about 60km away from my home) and built like a small comfortable town. You might remember going to the city of your town, all stores close to each other – but this time you will have no grocery store – you will have the faboulous brands you like.

Usually you expect large halls with all the stores between and not the typical small village flair you find in all Chic Outlet Factories in Europe (Bicester Village – near London, Kildare Village – near Dublin, La Vallée Village near Paris, Las Rozas Village near Madrid, La Roca Village near Barcelona, Fidenza Village near Milan/Bologna, Maasmechelen Village near Brussels – Antwerp – Cologne, Wertheim Village near Frankfurt and Ingolstadt Village near Munich)

I really like these places where you find a lot of brands in one place with a special design – outside this huge and typical megamalls (e.g. Sawgrass Mills Fort Lauderdale, etc.). The friendly staff of Ingolstadt Village sent me the first preview pictures the last days and I wanted to share them with you immediately.

On browsing their information it might become really interesting – as they have great labels as MCM, Strenesse, 7 For All Mankind, Escada, Gant, Wolford :) – international designers as Versace, Valentino, La Perla and also sport and skiing companies e.g. Bogner, Napapijri, Salomon – and as it looks, also great food with a wonderful Thai restaurant (and you know I like Thai food…). I will continue writing about Ingolstadt Village after (or during) my visit within the next 2 weeks…

Visiting Christian Louboutin Store in Miami – 155 NE 40th Street Miami, FL, 33137

March 24, 2012 | 7

During my last trip to Miami, FL I had the chance to visit the new Christian Louboutin Store in Miami – located 155 NE 40th Street Miami, FL, 33137 – which is a complete different style. Not in the middle of the tourist attraction is the store located in the design district of Miami, with great galleries, great restaurants and also the famous Louboutin store.

When you compare the store, with the Louboutin store in Manhattan, you will see a garden style decor with entrance door and the high heels are located on the inner cube of the store. Great art around the wall and outside the middle cube you will find handbags and accessoires outside and the famous high heels inside. You feel a little bit protected – no chance for paparazzi to take pictures of the celebs also entering this store.

I took the opportunity to visit the store in afternoon and the biggest advantage is, it is not so crowded, so the team can take all the time for you and always carefully check your sizes and how you walk, give real opinions and real suggestions…

My personal favorite was the special edition with the blue insole and rhinestore, but I visited the store for different nude high heels by Christian Louboutin and finally found a pair of black and white peeptoes (not the shoes I was looking for – but tooo beautiful…). The other pictures are taking after the store visit at Miami Bayside before dinner.

Munich City Fashion Shopping – Great shops, great offers – complete different way

March 23, 2012 | 12

Today was a day, you expect in a complete different way. It started in the morning and I had to buy a few things in the city. Selected a black miniskirt and white blouse and black tights and ready to go…  I expect to need about 60-90 Minutes, I came back after 6 hours… :)

Munich City Fashion Shopping - Great shops, great offers - complete different way

As the weather was so beautiful and parts of the city still not so crowded, I decided to visit the sightseing platform of the church “St. Peter / Alter Peter” first, as friends always told me, if you want to arrive completely in Munich, you have to take the 308 stairs up to 91 meters to get a great impression of Munich… but they didn’t tell me not to do it on high heels… (I still feel my legs…) – pictures of the trip to the top – Munich city with all the hotspots will follow during the next days – I really like the pics – gorgeous to see this view of Munich… (little teaser…)

But after that I started visiting the department house of Ludwig Beck (great drugstore area with Mac Cosmetics, Bobby Brown, OPI, etc.) and went to Wolford, Zara, Mango, etc. – what I found at the Zara store is shown below… I will start making pictures with the outfits shortly. The new pastel colors and leopard trends are gorgeous, I tried tons of outfits everywhere and that is why I needed so long in the city…

I hope you all have a great Friday evening – have fun and enjoy the weekend… I will continue to write tomorrow.

Cologne Cathedral – Koelner Dom – Pictures of my trip to Cologne – World Heritage List

March 22, 2012 | 10

The final posting about my trip to Cologne with the pictures of the world famous Cologne Cathedral, which was located on the opposite site of my hotel – the Domhotel – and really impressive. Still unbelievable that they started building this impressive cathedral in the 11th century and finished it during the 18th century.

Cologne Cathedral - Koelner Dom - Pictures of my trip to Cologne - World Heritage List

One of the biggest cathedrals worldwide with a huge history and belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1996. It is always impressive again, when entering through the huge doors. I wanted to share these pictures of the Cologne Cathedral from the outside and inside and it is great to see how many people of different nations will enter and visit it. (during the 1960s, it was also open for muslimic immigrants als place to pray)

For me, when visiting Cologne, it is a must-stop – just for a few minutes – but taking the time… I hope you enjoy the pictures, more fashion will follow tomorrow… Feel free to share these pictures with PInterest or on your blog (as long as you link back to my page…)

New look of the day: black miniskirt with white blouse and red high heels

March 21, 2012 | 14

Time for another fashion blog update. Today you will find the outfit I selected for yesterdays dinner at the Zen-Restaurant in Munich – pan-asian food and sushi. Two things I really like, so changing the clothes for a little big more elegant but still comfortable styling including red high heels…

New look of the day: black miniskirt with white blouse and red high heels

The weather in Munich was great yesterday evening, so no tights, just a comfortable miniskirt, combined with a tight white blouse and a ponytail.

I hope you like the black miniskirt (Zara, UK), combined with white blouse (Armani Exchange) and red high heels (Stuart Weitzman) and will vote for my look at Lookbook, Chicisimo, Chictopia or share the look. You can follow my looks also on the right part of the page with Chicisimo.com and Lookbook.nu
