After the first spring impressions of Munich a few days ago (here), I also want to show you on the fashionblog part my first spring outfit, last week. Taken at Munich Odeonsplatz and still unbelievable blazer last week, snow again this week.

I really like these days in the city, not to warm, but still nice, comfortable with tight pants, leather boots and a nice shirt – blazer and ready for a shopping and sightseeing trip in Munich.

New York City Impression – Manhattan – Brooklyn – Central Park

Written by on March 24, 2013 in Travel with 8 Comments

Over the years I collected so many pictures of all the favorite travel spots I never showed, so I want to start a new category on my blog – called “Travel Photos”. You find a lot of summaries from my fashion shootings, but non of travel photos. So time to start with New York City.

I will start to create for every city a special page and category, where you find interesting information, hotspots and places you should visit or how you can save money on your luxury trip.

I cannot give you recommendations for hostels or low budget hotels (but I think there are frequent blogs around with great support), but taking a look on the luxury hotels, will be my part.

Munich spring impressions – Marienplatz, Odeonsplatz, City Hall

Written by on March 23, 2013 in Locations with 5 Comments

Time to show you the first spring impressions of Munich, Germany – my current hometown. Yesterday I spent the day in the city of Munich – the weather was perfect, blue sky with a few clouds and the sun shining.

Spring in Bavaria - Famous Buildings - a bit of clouds and sun

So I uploaded already the first pictures yesterday to Instagram – but here are some more pictures, showing you the famous City Hall at Marienplatz, place to meet most of the tourists from all over the world and every time fascinating to come back, again and again.

When you walk around the streets, you see a few flower shops, offering you the first spring flowers, bringing a bit of color in your garden – I cannot wait to go out with T-shirt and miniskirt, but today again a bit of snow and very cold outside – 0°C. The final pictures are taken at the end of the second famous shopping street “Theatinerstrasse” with the famous Feldherrenhalle and the yellow Theatiner-Church.

Fashion look for the ITB Fair in Berlin – my outfit with minidress

Written by on March 21, 2013 in Fashion, Locations, Look of the day with 7 Comments

First of all thank you for all the feedback and comments I received during the last days about my reports from the ITB fair in Berlin. As a few of you requested, if I also have pics with my minidress I want to show the complete look.

It is always difficult to find the right outfit for a fair – not to sexy, but classical, not to warm not to cold – so a black minidress would be perfect – tight, comfortable and great to combine with high heels or with boots.

Don’t ask me if I felt my feet after three days on these boots or the last day on Louboutin high-heels but it might look better and I still enjoy walking on high heels – Living the #redsole life … :)

The first video is in German language, but you will get a good impression of all the lovely items on my room, the service, the hotel offers immediately after arrival and why I felt comfortable during the stay.

I am currently editing the English video of my stay at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit and will upload it to my Youtube and ITunes Video Channel. If you like podcasts and video tours, don’t miss the free pureGLAM.tv channel at ITunes.

I was thinking for a longer time to introduce a few pages and also blogs I read frequently or I  like for different reasons and today I want to start with the first page, called MrsOaroundtheWorld dot com – “Mrs. O around the world” sounds interesting already from the beginning …

Using Twitter was the reason for the first personal meeting in March and it was a situation, you don’t know why it happend, but it happend. I came back from the ITB fair in Berlin and stayed at the Westin Grand Berlin Hotel, stayed in a wonderful Theme Suite and they excused for not giving me a Spa-suite, but this suite is not available on one day :( .  I replied to a few emails, checked the Twitter feeds (also of the Westin Grand Hotel) when a girl uploaded a picture of her “Spa Suite” and sent greetings to the hotel for the wonderful suite… (my suite!)

I had to contact her, asked via Twitter and send her a message “Greetings from the opposite area of the hotel – hope you enjoy my suite… with a huge smile … ” after a few messages we decided no to use twitter any longer and finally met at the hotel bar… (I think it ended around 3am :) )… and next day was again the ITB fair and meetings in the early morning :)
