Five more days with temperatures around zero degrees, before leaving to Barcelona next week. Currently temperatures around 15-20°C and the perfect location directly on the beach – the W-Hotel Barcelona. One of the new and modern landmarks in Spain.
You can ask whoever you want, they all remember this gorgeous building and perfect spot – located near the harbour with an awesome service.

I will be there for 3 nights and have so many great things to discover and hopefully also find a few hours just to relax at the swimming pool or at the beach – and when in Barcelona, I will also use the chance for a little bit of shopping @ La Rambla. Finding great restaurants or bars for lunch and dinner, trying some tapas or other specialities and sharing impressions during the day via Twitter and Instagram with you.
The next fashion update with 11 photos of the April sheet of my Fashion & Travel Calendar 2013 and one of my personal favorits. l really like this style of minidresses – a mix of elegant and easy – not to short and not to long – great to combine with different high heels and accessoires.
This part of the calendar 2013 sheet is also produced outside Las Vegas inside the beautiful Canyon of Fire National Park with 40°C – but a place I always want to come back.
This outfit is by Forever 21 – and I found it in Las Vegas as a replacement for my delayed luggage from the Lufthansa flight from Munich to LAX with more outfits for the shooting.

After starting the first travel photo gallery with “New York” last week, I want to add another great city with the first impressions directly to my travel blog – Sydney, Australia. After a 24 hour flight with Stopover in Bangkok and a great service during the flight operated by Thai Airways (very comfortable) – it was great to arrive at 30°C in January.

Sydney is a fantastic place to see all the great buildings (Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge or the Sydney Sky Tower). You have so many things to discover in Sydney and I wanted to start with the first part of my pictures – the famous Taronga Zoo will follow with a separate posting.

Creating the Instagram summary once per month is always a wonderful reflection of the last month and what happend and changed, so I really enjoy taking a look back to the past. This month was more Germany orientated with city pictures of Munich and Berlin, my visit at the ITB Fair and the meeting and the Mexican Embassy.

Review about the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. For me was it a coming back after three stays in 2010 and I was looking for a hotel at the end of my Asia trip I already knew and with easy access to Grand Palace and the Chao Phraya River.
I booked a total of three nights at the Royal Orchid Sheraton for the end of the trip and the regular rate is approx. 150 US$ per night for a classical room (no breakfast included), but I checked out after one night. Read the reasons why I decided to stay only one night at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Bangkok.
KEYFACTS:
CHECKIN: I arrived with the complementary shuttle service by the St. Regis Hotel Bangkok, which I really appreciate, so car labeled with St. Regis – bellcaptains looked at the car, no assistance on door, neither on luggage. Only on my information and a few words on Thai by the driver of the St. Regis hotel, that they should arrange to carry my luggage and bring it to the hotel – they start working. No greeting – just a small comment “Checkin is on the left”. The hotel was not really crowded – a few people waiting for checkin, I selected the “Elite/SPG Platinum row” with one guest in front and had to wait 15 minutes for checkin!
