Schlossstern Restaurant – Schlosshotel Velden – Woerthersee by Falkensteiner

In the last week I had next to my stay at Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden at Woerthersee, the possibility to test that special gourmet restaurant “Schlossstern” in the hotel and to be pampered there.

The “Schlossstern” restaurant is known for many years not only in Velden, but one of the world’s most selected restaurants for a special meal and exceptional service.

The restaurant has been awarded 3 toques in the Gault Millau (in addition to the Michelin-stars, the most important award), and won 4 stars at A la carte (94 points) and 3 forks in Falstaff (93 points) and is now the home of Paul Schrott , the well-known two-star chef (including Weisses Rössl  and restaurants from Marbella to St. Moritz) and my restaurant for the evening at the Schlosshotel Velden.

The gourmet restaurant is located on the first floor of the historic castle and offers several ways to enjoy the menus and be pampered by the excellent team of chefs and service team. Due to the already very pleasant weather in the evening, the opportunity was great to sit on the large balcony while watching the mood on the Woerthersee in the evening.

After a very friendly welcome from the staff of the restaurant and presentation of the program for the evening you could enjoy the special view first and start with a nice aperitif.

Good bye Germany – welcome to Austria

Written by on May 12, 2013 in Travel with 4 Comments

Time to say good-bye to Germany again for a few days and visiting Austria. I will leave Germany on Tuesday morning and visit two hotels of the Falkensteiner Group in Austria, before going to Salzburg for an additional night.

When I thought about Austria three weeks ago and going to the Alps, for a few days with wellness, mountains and great restaurants, I start counting the days and now – just two more nights and back to Austria.

So I start again with the travel preparations and thinking about the right outfits for the trip. I already found a few new great outfits of the Beyonce Collection at H&M and will show you the new dresses and skirts on the next days.

The first part of the outfit I will take with me, are my blue high-heels by Prada (Calzatura Donna) and they are really comfortable. I might not use them when climbing on the mountains, but on the evening, when visiting the restaurants.

Written by on May 10, 2013 in Fashion, Look of the day with 5 Comments

Time for a new fashion blog update here from Munich and before going to the city I want to show you a new style I often use when travelling and also prefer not the strict business look, but a little bit more elegant, stylish and also a bit sexy.

A few of you already contacted me via email, if everything is o.k., as I do not post these days daily, but I can tell you, I am fine and only in a lot of projects I want to finish within the next days and I hope you will also like it when it is online.

I will try to update my blog during the next days more frequently, as I am leaving Germany again for a few days next weeks and you will get another chance to follow me “live” during these days with Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Barcelona yacht harbour – casual fashion outfit with high heels

Written by on May 6, 2013 in Fashion, Locations, Look of the day with 2 Comments

A beautiful location and great photo spot – the Barcelona Yacht Harbour – not to far away from Las Ramblas and the Monument of Columbus. I received from time to time emails by my readers, who always want to know what outfit I wore on a city tour.

At temperatures between 18 and 22 degrees, it was still a bit to cold and uncomfortable for a summer-dress, but a few open-toed sandals with thin heel, a nice tight jeans and also a T-shirt, which somehow shows the motto of my blog again relatively well . “Plus jamais sans high heels” – “Never without high-heels …”

Personally, I always like to visit cities where you can walk on water, whether Battery Park in New York, London on the Thames, or as here, the harbor and later the Mediterranen Sea on the way back to the hotel.
